It may sound strange but the reality is that anyone who believes in Jesus as their Savior is called to suffer for him. And the comfort we have is we don't have to suffer alone. God has given us each other to be able to support one another through our trials and persecutions.
Divisiveness is like a plague and in order for us to maintain unity within our relationships and within the church, we first of all need to understand who we are in relation to Jesus Christ. And when we have a good grasp of that, it helps us view each other through the lens of thanksgiving.
It doesn't matter if you're extraverted, introverted or somewhere in between we all need each other. In fact, we can't truly win at life without the support of godly people. That's why God teaches us that life is better together.
Being a Christian isn't easy. At times it entails suffering and persecution but thankfully we have a secret weapon. It's Christ in us!
The devil is always looking for ways to divide us, whereas God's desire is to unite us. One way to keep the unity is to intentionally thank God for each other through prayer asking that the Holy Spirit fill us with his good gifts.
